How to get MS Outlook addressbook into Evolution (courtesy of PJJ):

> Export MS Outlook addressbook to a .ldif file (named addressbook.ldif), saved on a FAT32 disk that can be read by MS and LOS.

> Installed Mozilla 1.8 on MS drive and imported .ldif file. Now old MS addressbook available in MS Mozilla.
(Installed MS Firefox and imported addressbook from MS Mozilla to MS Firefox just to test. Not a required step.)

> Boot into LOS.
> Open Mozilla 1.x.
> Open 'Mail and News...' in Mozilla 1.x.
> Import .ldif file from FAT32 partition/drive into LOS Mozilla.

Old MS Outlook2000 addressbook available in LOS Mozilla 'Mail'.

> Close Mozilla 'Mail' and Mozilla browser.
> Open Evolution Mail Client.

> Import, then 'Import file from old application', (Netscape and Mozilla).
Follow instructions, pick 'Contacts' , then created new sub-folder for Contacts, called "AddressBook", import, then old MS Outlook2000 addressbook available in LOS Evolution mail client.
