How do I add/remove/edit the items located in the Launch menu?
Right-on click the Launch menu and select Menu Editor then expand the Run Programs list.
Right-clicking on the various item give you the options to add, delete, etc.
1. With your favorite text editor, edit the file /etc/kde3/kickerrc
2. Find the [KMenu] text, and
3. Change 'ShowText = true' to 'ShowText = false'
