You can copy files in the File Manager (Konqueror) by either pressing the F7 key or Edit -> Copy Files after you have selected what files you want to copy.

Tip: Select the files by either holding the Ctrl (Control) key while you click what files you want to copy, or you can select two opposing corners of a square while holding the Shift, and not the Control key. Or even simpler, drag your mouse curser to opposing corners of a square.



Then you can use the secondary browser by clicking the folder icon in the newly created window. You will get a browser with many same qualities, but it does not copy files, it simply makes it easier to create the file location code for the Copy Files window. Once you have decided the location, you can simply press OK. And then Ok on the Copy Files dialogue box. You may get a progress window if the files or folders have much data. If you do not, you do not need to be surprised. However, your files still have been copied.
